Biography
Prior to joining Pollinate, Tommy spent over a decade in the Research and Healthcare Information Services and Analytics Industry. He led the Research Reference Business at Elsevier, the world’s largest STEM data and analytics provider and held various executive positions at EBSCO Information Services covering Product Management, Strategy and Corporate Venturing. Tommy started his career with the strategy consulting firm Marakon Associates. There he advised clients in Europe, Brazil and North America specializing in Financial Services, High Tech and Media, and Pharm.
Tommy earned his MBA at INSEAD in France and Singapore as a Louis Franck scholar and has a Masters in Chemistry and a Boxing Blue from Oxford University. He is an active angel investor, coach, and board advisor to several start-ups. Tommy was born and grew up in Hong Kong, lived in the Maldives and speaks Brazilian Portuguese. He now lives in Boston with his wife, two children and golden doodle.
